Beim Fr\u00fchst\u00fcck diskutieren wir dar\u00fcber mit dem Performer William\u00a0Briscoe.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>William Briscoe wird beim Fr\u00fchst\u00fcck anhand seiner Erfahrungen mit Voguing n\u00e4her auf das Thema \u201eEndurance\u201c eingehen.<\/strong> Vogue ist eine Tanzform des sozialen Widerstands und der queeren Befreiung. Es handelt sich um einen hochstilisierten Tanz der Selbstdarstellung, der in den 1960er- bis 1990er-Jahren in Harlem, New York City, in den Schwarzen und lateinamerikanischen LGBTQ+- und Drag-Tanzgemeinschaften entstanden ist. Heute breitet er sich weltweit weiter aus. Es gibt drei verschiedene Stile des Voguing: Old Way, New Way und Vogue Fem. Seine weibliche Essenz, seine k\u00f6rperliche Ausdruckskraft und seine sinnlichen Bewegungen sind faszinierend. Dieses Fr\u00fchst\u00fcck bietet die Gelegenheit zu erfahren, wie Voguing entstanden ist und was es bedeutet. See you on the dance floor!<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>October \u2013 THE SPEAKER<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>William Briscoe begann seine Tanzausbildung bei der Repertory Dance Company in East Harlem, New\u00a0York\u00a0City. Er setzte seine Ausbildung an der LaGuardia High School of Music &amp; Art and Performing Arts fort. Gleichzeitig trat er am Merce Cunningham Dance Center und an der Metropolitan Opera in New York auf. Zudem erwarb er einen Bachelor of Fine Arts an der Juilliard School.<\/p>\n<p>William Briscoe war 2016 bis 2019 als Lehrbeauftragter f\u00fcr modernen Tanz an der Adelphi University, New\u00a0York t\u00e4tig. Des Weiteren f\u00fchrte er f\u00fcr folgende Organisationen und Veranstaltungen Tanzworkshops durch: Konservatorium Boston, Universit\u00e4t Towson, ImPulstanz Vienna, Bolzano Danza, Braswell Arts Center, STEPS On Broadway, Dance Alps Festival, Feelgoodyoga, Vienna Dance Center, Hetrick Martin Institute, Axis Connect, DESPETARES Mexico und Curitiba Brasile.<\/p>\n<p>William Briscoe tritt in Musicals auf. Er liebt es, zu singen. An der Volksoper Wien war er als Gastk\u00fcnstler t\u00e4tig. Er spielte in HAIRSPRAY (DE), LA CAGE AUX FOLLES (AT) und THE ROCKY HORROR SHOW (IT). Im Jahr 2024 wird er in der Rolle des SHARK in der West Side Story an der Volksoper\u00a0Wien zu sehen sein. Basierend auf seiner beruflichen Erfahrung mit K\u00f6rpern in Bewegung in den Bereichen Voguing, Yoga, Fitness, zeitgen\u00f6ssischer Tanz und House entwickelt er seine Praxis in Richtung Bewegung als Heilmittel weiter.
